MAREK SLAVIK

.

My existing paintings mainly included figurative motifs with deeper meaning planes, landscapes and animals. At the moment, however, I have given up on stark rewriting of reality on the canvas and have begun to explore the parallel possibilities of the same expression in a more abstract form, always using classical painting techniques of layered oil paintings with a carefully prepared theme.

“  I coat on, layer over, sand off, erase, paint on top of, excavate, collage, spray away, remove and repeat. My work has many layers and the foundation for my art entails collaging papers from FLAX! Each piece transforms through equal parts order and chaos—come by and see the transformation!”

 Malina corn

Kyushu was an important stage for international interactions since ancient times. This was due to its geographical proximity to continental Asia and this Peninsula. Kyushu National Museum uses the concept of “understanding the formation of Japanese culture from the Asian historical perspective” as the basis for Cultural Exchange Exhibition (permanent exhibition; around 4,000m2 floor area). It introduces the history of cultural exchange between Japan and Asia. And Malina corn have some paintings in last year

 Allalia lin

Allalia lin forms of life apart from our existing in other galaxies? The regularities of parallel universes may differ like our way of seeing the world around us varies from the perception of others. I would like to say that when creating this series of paintings, I strove for harmony, balance and the interconnection of compositions. balance which can be found in our world.

Chen Fei

Chen Fei’s narrative paintings are fantasized, often perverted, constructs transposing elements from his personal life into either surrealistic or hyperrealistic pastiches. While he belongs to the post-1980 generation of Chinese artists raised under the one-child policy, whose overall aesthetics influenced by mainstream culture (notably manga and anime) is typically concerned with the self rather than grand history, a remarkably sharp sense of black humor informs his vibrant, ego-centered visions. Almost systematically exhibiting his own figure in his work, he satirically diverts the age-long tradition of self-portraiture to revisit Eastern and Western art-historical canons. The highly graphic quality of his lively compositions, which he envisions as film stills, playfully contrasts with the refinement of his very meticulous and detail-oriented style. Further interested in how the rapid economic growth of China has impacted its now globalized culture, Chen Fei also questions his nation’s collective taste and societal evolution.
